RECREATION & PARKS

TEMPORARY PARKS WORKER

Parks Worker: Performs duties in turf care, park construction projects, landscape maintenance and Town programs and events. Under minimal supervision performs various turf management, park maintenance and construction tasks using hand and power operated tools; a variety of small gas/diesel powered, electrically driven, and/or hydraulically operated equipment/machinery. Drives, operates and trains on equipment used by the Recreation & Parks Department. Must be dependable. Experience helpful but not required.

TRANSPORTATION Bus Drivers: Two forms of ID, copy of your driving record for past 3 yrs, current within 30 days of application and social security card must be presented. Driving positions require a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with passenger and air brake endorsements along with a current DOT Medical Certificate.

Bus Driver Applicants (only) may pick up their application packets at the Public Works Complex, 204-65th St. Bldg. F. Completed applications may be returned by appointment only. Contact Dianna Davis at 410-723-2174 for an appointment.

We advertise in local and regional newspapers, local Department of Labor and Licensing Regulations (DLLR) offices, on the bulletin board of City Hall and bulletin boards of all Town of Ocean City Departments.

It is the City's policy only to accept Town of Ocean City applications with resumes for currently available positions as advertised .
