UPDATED: OCPD Seeking Public’s Assistance in Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

At approximately 10 a.m. this morning, OceanCity police responded to the Susquehanna Bank at 9405 Coastal Highway in reference to a bank robbery. At this time the suspect is still at large.

The suspect is described as a white male, thin and muscular, in his early to mid-20’s wearing a red baseball cap, red polo shirt and khaki dress pants. Police believe that the suspect parked or exited his vehicle in the area of West Biscayne Drive and Artic Avenue prior to the bank robbery and approached the Susquehanna Bank on foot.  After robbing the bank shortly after 10 a.m., the suspect traveled south on West Biscayne Drive on foot back to this waiting vehicle.  The suspect then traveled through the Little Salisbury area on W. Biscayne Drive to Pacific Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts or a possible vehicle description is asked to call Crime Solvers of the Lower Shore at 410-548-1776. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the below suspect.
