SKATE PARK PROGRAMS
The Ocean Bowl offers a variety of programs throughout the year. These programs include contests, camps, clinics, and lessons.
COMPETITIONS
Skate Competitions. Competitions dates are June 22nd, July 20th, August 10th.
Think you’re the best boarder in OC? Why not try to prove it at the Ocean Bowl Skate Competitions. These one-day contests offer competition for various age categories with prizes awarded to the winners.
WHO: Skaters, 6 years and up
DATES:
Session A: June 22nd
Session B: July 20th
Session C: August 10th
DAYS: Tuesdays
TIMES: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
LOCALE: Ocean Bowl Skate Park, 3rd Street & St. Louis Avenue
PRICE: $10 per contest
OTHER: All participants must have a current Ocean Bowl Skate Park waiver on file. The parent or legal guardian must sign waivers for minors.

PROGRAMS
Skate Lessons. During the fall and spring the Ocean Bowl staff leads lessons for beginning and intermediate skaters. These lessons are limited to 8 participants to allow for a quality instructor to student ratio.
Skate Camps. The Ocean Bowl has hosted a Skateboarding Camp for children ages 6 years and up since 2003.
Skate Clinic. The Back to School Skateboarding Blitz is a weekend clinic held in October. The clinic runs Friday-Sunday during the weekend in which Worcester County schools are closed on Friday.
All participants must have a skate park waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian* on file prior to participating in any Ocean Bowl program.
*Legal Guardians are those individuals who have been given the LEGAL authority to make decisions on behalf of a minor. Friends of the family, non-parent relatives, etc. who are in temporary custody of a minor may NOT claim legal guardianship. In the event a parent or legal guardian is unable to accompany the minor at the time of registration, the Town will accept a notarized signature on the official waiver form.
