Sundaes in the ParkBring your picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park at 127th Street and the Bay for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment for adults and children. The lineup of entertainers this season will make you stand and cheer, however, the spotlight will be on you creating your own ice cream sundae with delicious toppings. Sundaes in the Park is a free family concert series offered Sunday evenings in July and August from 7 to 9 p.m. For a small fee, enjoy your own ice cream sundae creation as you listen to your musical favorites and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay.

Concerts on the Beach provide free, live entertainment with tribute bands and local favorites. Treat yourself to a collection of summer beach music, watch the sun set, view the sparkling blue ocean and dance by moonlight. There is no better setting for relaxing than Concerts on the Beach. The beach beat will have your hands clapping and your toes tapping to the variety of entertainment from 8 to 9:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening. Sunfest celebrates its 40th year as Ocean City’s biggest and best festival. Sunfest artists will delight your senses with their art and craft creations. Demonstrating artists will amaze you with their unique talents.  Over 30 food vendors will awaken your taste buds with delicious foods from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to pit beef, gyros, Asian cuisine and many more. Enjoy free live entertainment on two stages all day long. Children will enjoy hayrides and inflatables on the beach. Sunfest 2014 has something for everyone.

Admission to the four-day event is free! All entertainment is free with the exception of the headline acts, which start at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, enjoy an evening of classic soul hits with the Righteous Brothers’ Bill Medley. Friday night is hot country night with Eric Paslay and Parmalee. Rick Springfest will be rocking the Sunfest tents on Saturday night. Tickets will be on sale at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center Box Office Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by contacting TicketMaster at 1-800-551-SEAT or www.ticketmaster.com.

The Sunfest Express offers direct service for festival attendees traveling from the Roland E. Powell Convention Center to the Inlet Parking Lot.  This is a non-stop express route that takes you directly to the Sunfest grounds for only $3 all day or $1 per boarding. Parking is free at the Convention Center south lot. Shuttles departs the lot every 30 minutes from 9:00 a.m. until 30 minutes following the end of the evening’s last concert, Thursday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. 

Ride the Boardwalk tram directly to the Sunfest grounds for only $3 per person one-way.  The tram runs from 10 a.m. to midnight on Thursday, Friday & Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Due to limited parking around the festival, and for your convenience, park your vehicle for free at the following locations and ride the bus –
It’s the way to go! $3 all day or #1 per boarding
* Northside Park on 125th Street
* Municipal Lot at 100th  Street

Take advantage of the Town’s Park & Ride location on Route 50 in West Ocean City.  Park your car for free and hop on the non-stop shuttle to Sunfest $3 all day for $1 per boarding.

Winterfest of Lights - Ocean City, MD

Winterfest of Lights Celebrates 22 Years of
Dazzling Lights on Winter Nights!

November 20, 2014 – January 4, 2015
Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.,
Friday & Saturday 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Admission is $5.00 for those 12 years and older,
and FREE for those 11 years and younger.

Trams are handicap accessible.

 


Join Santa Claus at Ocean City’s Winterfest of Lights, November 20th through January 4th. Board the Winterfest Express for a one mile journey set to music through 58 acres of spectacular lights featuring themed displays and a 50-foot Christmas tree! After your ride, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate at the Winterfest Pavilion and browse the Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop. Santa will be available every evening through December 23rd.

Admission is $5.00 for guests 12 years and older; FREE for those 11 and younger.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Springfest celebrates spring and the upcoming summer season. It is four dynamic days of delicious food, live entertainment and unique arts and crafts under four huge big top tents. Springfest is located in the Inlet Lot at the south end of Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk.

Springfest serves up a continuous variety of musical performances on two stages. Admission to the four-day event is free.

Bring your appetite so you can enjoy delicious food from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to a wide assortment of ethnic food. Over 30 food vendors will serve a variety of delicious food, as the Springfest artisans will delight your eyes with their arts and crafts creations during the Springfest celebration.

Art’s Alive celebrates 15 years as Ocean City’s biggest and best fine art show! What could be better than fine art at the beach? How about fine art for sale around a beautiful lagoon in a picturesque park with expansive bay views.

Visit 100 artists as they sell their works and enjoy lunch at the Artists’ Café and live music while your children create a free art memory. Art’s Alive is the art show that has something for everyone.

Supported by the Art League of Ocean City, Art’s Alive is a juried, fine art show with work for sale in 12 categories including ceramics, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, printmaking, photography, jewelry, mixed media, painting, sculpture and fine wood. Artists compete for $5,250 in cash prizes.

Art’s Alive will take place outdoors rain or shine. Bring the whole family and create an “artsy” Ocean City memory at Art’s Alive 2015.

The Ocean City Air Show is back for its seventh year! The show will be visible along the entire length of the Boardwalk, creating an inspiring experience for visitors while they enjoy the resort’s beaches and attractions. Flag Day, honoring the Flag of the United States and those who have served it, will be held at the opening of the Ocean City Air Show when the United States Navy Seals parachute to the beach and deliver the flag to a selected veteran.
