JUNIOR BEACH PATROL ACADEMY
Program # 400100 & 400200
Do you love the ocean and the beach? Are you interested in learning more about the ocean and in what it takes to become a lifeguard? Then don’t miss this chance to spend quality time with members of the renown Ocean City Beach Patrol (OCBP). OCBP teaches participants the basics of beach patrol duties, helping them learn and understand the waters, engaging in swimming activities, rescue techniques, safety practices, and first aid implementation.

Participants will spend each day on the beach and are required to meet established swimming requirements. Parents are welcome to observe and are encouraged to attend the week’s end competitions. This program definitely offers fun in the sun, so bring plenty of sunscreen and water.
