Art’s Alive at Northside Park June 15-16

blurry booths across lagoon photoMark your calendars for June 15-16, as Art’s Alive will be celebrating 13 years as Ocean City’s biggest and best fine art show. With nearly 100 artists selling their works, Art’s Alive offers a chance to enjoy beautiful fine art at the beach.

Art’s Alive is the art show that has something for everyone.  Taking place around a beautiful lagoon in picturesque Northside Park, Art’s Alive guests can enjoy expansive bay views while browsing unique artwork.  In addition to shopping for original art, visitors can lunch at the Artists’ Café and enjoy live music while children enjoy free art activities.

“This very special event was named Art’s Alive to demonstrate that Art IS Alive in Ocean City,” said Frank Miller, Special Events Superintendent for the Town of Ocean City.  “With 80 juried artists exhibiting and selling their work, and music, food and free children’s activities available for the entire family, there is something for everyone at Art’s Alive! Come in your shorts and flip-flops and take in the Art’s Alive experience!”

The Art’s Alive Official Event Merchandise Tent allows guests to take a little bit of Art’s Alive and Ocean City home with them.  Located in the information booth, merchandise includes T-shirts, jackets, baseball hats, pins and more.

Art’s Alive will take place outdoors rain or shine. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the whole family and create an “artsy” Ocean City memory at Art’s Alive 2013. For more information, contact the Ocean City Recreation & Parks Department at 410-250-0125.
