The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum is celebrating International Museum Day on Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theme for this year’s celebration, which is celebrated in over 30,000 museums in 120 countries, is Museums (memory + creativity) = Social Change.
Choo Choo Blue, the B&O Railroad Museum’s children’s mascot, will be joining the festivity, by making a special appearance at the Boardwalk tram station, just north of the museum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, which is located on the south end of the Boardwalk at 813 S. Atlantic Avenue, will be offering free admission on May 18, in honor of International Museum Day. In addition, a 10% discount will be offered on all gift shop merchandise.
