The Ocean City Museum Society is inviting all “locals” to visit the Life-Saving Station Museum during the fourth annual “Local’s Week Celebration.” During the week of October 24 -31, residents and visitors of Ocean City are invited to tour the Museum for the special “locals” celebration.
“We invite our residents and visitors to discover the local heritage and history that makes this area so unique,” said Diane Knuckles, Assistant Curator of the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. “We hope our citizens will join us and share favorite memories or stories of Ocean City with our staff that we can include in our archives.”
Museum visitors can complete a scavenger hunt and win a complimentary one year Museum Membership. Memberships to the Museum Society are also available at many affordable levels. The Museum, which is located at the South end of the Boardwalk, is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. There will be free admission for “locals” during “Local’s Week Celebration.”
