PLANNING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The Department of Planning and Community Development consists of two divisions: Planning and Zoning. The Planning Division, along with the Planning Commission, is responsible for preparing and maintaining the town’s Comprehensive Plan. The Zoning Division administers and enforces the town’s zoning regulations, including reviewing development plans for code compliance. Field inspections are made to ensure continued compliance. Staff also serves the Mayor and City Council and various Boards and Commissions.
