On September 22, 2011, Ocean City Police obtained charges, in reference to the investigation of the illegal possession and sale of banned substances occurring earlier in September 2001 at the “MayTalk” shop located at 213 Atlantic Avenue.
Fransisco Rico Hernandez (MayTalk owner) was charged with:
- Possession of Salvia
- Possession of Cannabimimetic Agent
- Distribution of Cannabimimetic Agent
- Possession of Synthetic Paraphernalia
- Selling Synthetic Paraphernalia
Blen Giday Berhani (MayTalk employee) was charged with:
- Possession of Cannabimimetic Agent
- Distribution of Cannabimimetic Agent
- Possession of Synthetic Paraphernalia
- Selling Synthetic Paraphernalia
Both Hernandez and Berhani are scheduled to appear in Ocean City District Court for a Preliminary Inquiry on October 14, 2011. (There are no booking images available)
