Ocean City Police Arrest Four for First-Degree Burglary
Ocean City, MD- (July 1, 2021): On June 29, 2021, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Ocean City police officers responded to a downtown apartment building on the Boardwalk in reference to a disorderly group.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they met with one of the victims. The victim informed officers that four males chased him into his apartment, kicked the door in, threatened him and his friends while attempting to rob them. Officers broadcasted the description of the four male suspects to fellow officers. Officers quickly located the four male suspects a short distance away.
During the investigation, it was determined that the suspects and victims engaged in a verbal altercation on the Boardwalk. The argument continued as they arrived back at the victim’s apartment. The four suspects forced their way into the apartment, assaulting the victims and attempted to rob them of their personal belongings. The four suspects left the area before police arrived.
As a result of the quick response by patrol officers and the detailed description provided by the victim, the following four arrests were made:
- James Travon Jones, 19, Owings Mills, MD: Home invasion: breaking & entering with intent to commit an act of violence, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault (3 counts), third-degree burglary, robbery (2 counts), second-degree assault (3 counts), false imprisonment (2 counts), and trespass- private property. Igao was seen by a Maryland District Court and held without bond.
- Christianne Dave Igao, 19, Owings Mills, MD: Home invasion: breaking & entering with intent to commit an act of violence, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault (3 counts), third-degree burglary, robbery (2 counts), second-degree assault (3 counts), false imprisonment (2 counts), and trespass- private property. Igao was seen by a Maryland District Court and held without bond.
- Juvenile #1, 15, Baltimore, MD: Robbery, first-degree assault, home invasion: breaking & entering with intent to commit an act of violence, and first-degree burglary. This case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
- Juvenile #2, 15, Baltimore, MD: Robbery, first-degree assault, home invasion: breaking & entering with intent to commit an act of violence, and first-degree burglary. This case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
