Penguin Swim

January 1, 2021

The Penguin Swim is a fun, annual event to support our not-for-profit community hospital. Each year, hundreds of Penguins raise funds to help the hospital provide the excellent quality care our community depends on. Individual and Team fundraising efforts by Penguin Swim participants enable Atlantic General to continue to provide that care, but they can’t do it alone! Business sponsors help make the event a great success as the Penguin Swim is one of our largest fundraisers in support of Atlantic General Hospital’s Mission to create a coordinated care delivery system that will provide access to quality care, personalized service, and education to improve individual and community health.

Please Note: The Entire Event Will Take Place Outdoors So Come Prepared For The Weather!

The Registration Fee is $25.00 per Participant.

ALL participants MUST register either online or in-person
AND check-in to receive a wristband to gain access to the Swim Area!

The Swim Will Take Place at 1:00p.m. on the Beach From 91st – 94th Street.
Participants and their spectators will be directed to physically distanced markers on the beach
where they will remain throughout the event.

May 28, 2020

Hosted at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center

  • Show Time: 8pm / Doors: 7:30pm

In a world of magical realism and rising water, two sisters are reunited at their family home. Mira, the caretaker sister, had to weather her mother’s death alone, and holds every childhood slight so close that she is literally burning from the inside out, shedding ashes and embers, as her wife, Amanda attempts to soothe her. Sister Deedee has returned to bring her fiancee, Pike, to safety, even as her memory is vanishing faster and faster. In this slowly drowning world, everyone is searching for higher ground. The sisters battle to the end, one unable to forget, the other unable to remember. Mox Nox is a play of lyrical magic and visual surprise, with characters who desperately need love and dry land. Mox Nox runs approximately 90 minutes without an intermission.
