Ocean City Film Festival – June 9-11 at the OC Center for the Arts
The second annual film festival, hosted by the Art League of Ocean City, will feature over 100 films from a variety of filmmakers, locals, and from the other side of the planet. The mission of this event is to showcase local and regional filmmakers. the OCFF promotes diversity and uniqueness in its mission to engage the community with the world of film. OCFF is the brainchild of local fimmaker William Strang-Moya, a 2013 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School, who hopes the event will grow and become an annual tradition at the resort. The intimate event will feature short- and feature-length films with opportunities for the audience to meet the filmmakers and discuss their work. Strang-Moya is encouraging submissions from local filmmakers to round out the entries he’s already received from other parts of Maryland and around the world. There is no entry fee.
Filmmakers may submit their entries until May 1 directly to Strang-Moya at [email protected] For full details, visit ocmdfilmfestival.com.
