Swing for Youth Golf Open – October 27, 2018

Eagles Landing plays host to the OC Recreation Boosters 8th Annual Swing for Youth Golf Open. This 4-person Florida scramble is a huge success with sell-out crowds each year. Participation is limited. All-inclusive price of $125 per player, $500 per team. Price includes greens fees and cart, two mulligans per person, putting contest, “Tame the Beast”, and raffle tickets. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 10am. All proceeds from this event will benefit the youth programs of Ocean City’s Recreation and Parks. Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade @ Boardwalk

HOWL-O-WEEN PET PARADE – Saturday, October 20, 2018 – Located at N. Division Street on the Boardwalk

Bring your dog, cat, bird or other family pet for Ocean City’s “Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade”, on the boardwalk near N. Division Street. Dress up your pets and showcase your creativity on Ocean City’s historic Boardwalk or sit back, relax and cheer for your favorite contestant. Each entry gets their moment in the spotlight. Lots of prizes and surprises will be awarded. While the event is free to participate, donations of pet supplies and monetary donations will be collected to benefit the Worcester County Humane Society. Registration begins at 12pm with the pageant on the boardwalk beginning promptly at 1pm.

The Festival, featuring Maryland wines, will be open Friday, September 28, and Saturday, September 29, from 11am to 7pm.

In addition to the vast array of wine offerings, there will be several vendors offering an array of Regional cuisine. Also featured are arts and craft vendors and assorted micro-brewed beers for purchase.

Popular local recording artists will provide entertainment on the oceanfront stage throughout the festival.

Stroll from winery to winery with the souvenir tasting glass that comes with admission. Mingle with friends while sipping fine wine, marvel at the fine arts and crafts on display, and relax by the sand stage with tasty treats while enjoying live music. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the entertainment and sea breezes.

Tickets for the festival are $35.00 (General Admission) at the gate. The cost includes a commemorative wine glass and sample coupons. For those who don’t drink, General Admission includes commemorative wine glass and unlimited soft drinks from the designated driver location. Children ages 13-20 are $15.00 and must be accompanied by a parent. Children age 12 and under are free.
