OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Ocean City Fire Department is dedicated to the protection of life and property within the town limits, and to neighboring communities who request our services. We are a full spectrum combination department with the meaningful motto, “Volunteer and Career, United to Serve” prominently and proudly displayed on our apparatus.

Our department contains three divisions: volunteer, career, and fire marshal who serve in a unified and cooperative manner with mutual respect. We provide high quality fire and rescue protection, medical care, fire prevention, and fire safety education. We are also committed to preserve the health of our volunteer and career personnel, and return them safely to their families. We are an integral and vibrant member of our community.
