JOB TITLE: Police Records Technician

SALARY: Full-time Position: $14.87/hour plus benefits

AVAILABILITY: Immediately

The Town of Ocean City, Maryland Police Department is seeking full-time employees capable of working 40 hours per week to perform tasks associated with records management duties.

JOB SUMMARY:

The applicant(s) selected for this position will be responsible for police related data entry, clerical duties/procedures related to the processing of parking fines and vehicle tows, and customer service inquires related to payments of fines and report processing.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Assignments are expected to be completed in accordance with established Department and Town policies, procedures, and precedents. This is a confidential employee who must pass a comprehensive background investigation which may include a polygraph. and a pre-employment drug test.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited high school with a proficiency in the understanding and use of office related software packages to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and must be available to work weekends and/or evening hours.

Information Technology

Support Specialist

Provide high-level information technology support for Windows 10, Active Directory, SCCM, repair, maintenance, system imaging, and all other hardware and software used by City employees. Provides technical assistance and training to users. Candidate must have Four-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and Windows operating systems. Possess a valid driver’s license. Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation. Entry level salary is $50,295 plus benefits. This position is open until filled.

Planning and Community Development

Plumbing Inspector

The Department of Planning and Community Development seeks qualified and experienced applicants for a full-time Plumbing Inspector position. Duties include performing regular review and inspection of plumbing/fuel gas plans for code, permit, and construction compliance along with the preparation of notices, citations and file documentation. Minimum requirements: High school diploma with technical training in plumbing and fuel gas systems, minimum 5 years of related experience, journey or master plumber/gas fitter license. ICC certifications for plumbing inspector, plumbing plans examiner, and fuel gas inspector preferred. Possess a valid driver’s license and submit a 3-year driving record; pass a post offer drug test and background check. Salary range for this position is up to $58,516 DOQ plus benefits.
