Scamper Camp

Scamper Camp is a fun and exciting program for children 3.5 – 5 years of age (Child must have turned 3 by 12/19/2016). Children will participate in various activities and fun field trips. Camp is licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and will be offered in seven 1-week Sections.

Section A: June 20 – 22, 2017
Section B: June 27 – 29, 2017
Section C: July 5 – 7, 2017
Section D: July 11 – 13, 2017
Section E: July 18 – 20, 2017
Section F: July 25 – 27, 2017
Section G: August 1 – 3, 2017

DAYS: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Section C: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

TIMES: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

LOCALE: Ocean City Elementary School

PRICE: OC Residents $65.00 per week/ Non-Residents $88.00 per week

A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required for registration per Section.
Daily Bus Service: $25.00 per week (within Town of Ocean City only)

CAMPER NOTES:  Camp is limited to 24 participants and children must be fully potty trained. Daily bus service is available on a limited basis within the Town of Ocean City limits for $25.00 per week per camper.

REGISTRATION: Please do not use the registration form in this brochure. Ocean City Residents must provide proof of residency with acceptable documents being an Ocean City Tax Bill or copy of Lease. Registration for Ocean City residents and property owners begins on February 1st. Non-Resident registration begins March 1st.  Registration will be accepted on a first-come/first served basis through mail or personal drop off. CAMP HORIZON

Camp Horizon

Camp Horizon is an exciting day camp program for children 5 to12 years of age.  Children will participate in weekly field trips, athletics, arts and crafts, special events and many other creative activities. This program is certified by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Special registration requirements exist.

Section C: July 3 – 7, 2017 (No camp on Tuesday, July 4)
Section D: July 10 – 14, 2017
Section E: July 17 – 21, 2017

Section G: July 31 – August 4, 2017
Section H: August 7 – 11, 2017

Monday – Friday

Sections A – B, D – G: Ocean City Residents $110.00 per Section

Sections A – B, D – G: Non-Residents $133.00 per Section

Section C: Ocean City Residents $90.00/Non-Residents $113.00

Section H:* OC Residents $145.00 /Non-Residents $168.00

*Prices are increased for additional field trips. Campers must have attended at least one week during Sections A – G to be eligible to register in Section H.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis beginning February 1st for Ocean City Residents and property owners. Non-residents may register beginning March 1st.

Registration packets are available for pick-up at the Northside Park Recreation Complex, 125th Street and the Bay, Ocean City, 410-250-0125, beginning February 1st or can be downloaded above.

Registration will be accepted through mail or personal drop-off. All forms must be complete in order to be processed and appropriate deposits must accompany registration.

Please note that incomplete submissions will be returned to the sender without being Processed! PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION PACKET PRIOR TO SENDING IT.

 

Registration Requirements

1. Completed Registration Packet.
2. A copy of your child’s age-appropriate immunizations (only if child has not started Kindergarten or does not attend a school in Maryland).
3. A copy of your child’s birth certificate if he/she is five years of age or younger. (No original documents please).
4. A. Ocean City Residents must provide documentation of residence. Acceptable Documents are as follows:
-Ocean City Tax Bill
-Copy of Lease
5. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit per child per session plus any appropriate bus deposits.

MISCELLANEOUS

Registration in Camp Horizon is limited to 120 children per session, and boasts a well-trained 14 person staff. Confirmation of acceptance into the program will be provided by mail. Please do not expect confirmation until June 1st.

Registration in Scamper Camp is limited to 24 children per session and they must be 3.5 years of age prior to session date.

Parent/guardian information is vital in the event of an emergency; please include all pertinent information in the space provided. Read and sign the waiver statement located at the bottom of the registration form.
