Ocean City Recreation & Parks Department is pleased to announce that demolition of the existing playground in Little Salisbury Park at 94th Street has begun in preparation for installation of a new, vibrant play structure and swings. The new modular structure, appropriately named the Aventus Tower due to its height, provides inclusive play elements as well as many other challenging elements with high play value including a 12’ slide and an internal climbing wall. Three new swing bays will provide the opportunity for two belt swings and one Expression Swing, a multi-generational playground swing. The Expression Swing allows an adult and child to interact face to face while swinging together to enhance the social, emotional and cognitive well-being of both children and adults.

The playground area will be closed approximately eight weeks to accommodate demolition and construction.
