Ocean City Fire Department Responds to a Residential Fire on Tudor Road

Ocean City, Maryland (December 30, 2024): The Ocean City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Tudor Road in West Ocean City, Maryland, on December 24, 2024, at approximately 6:30 pm.

Initial Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) units from the Ocean City Fire Department, the Berlin Fire Company, and Ocean Pines responded to the scene. They arrived to observe smoke and fire coming from the rear of the residential structure. Fire and EMS units worked quickly to contain the fire. All occupants were able to exit the structure safely before the arrival of the fire department.

A firefighter sustained a minor injury during the incident.

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office conducted a thorough origin and cause fire investigation. They determined the fire was accidental from cooking on a deck enclosure.
