Ocean City Named One of the Top 10 Hottest U.S. Destinations for Summer by TripAdvisor®
With the start of summer around the corner, the travel planning and booking site ranks Ocean City, Md., sixth on its list of the top 10 domestic destinations for U.S. travelers
OCEAN CITY, Md. (May 16, 2018) — With everything Ocean City, Md., has to offer, it is no surprise that it has just been named one of TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Hottest U.S. Destinations for Summer. Ocean City earned the sixth spot on the list, which is based on the greatest increase in seasonal hotel booking interest, including the average one-week vacation costs for hotels and airfare.

TripAdvisor also recognized Ocean City for its iconic beach, three-mile Boardwalk, and seafront full of salt-water taffy, special concerts and kids’ activities. The Top 10 list not only shows the top places to visit, but also helps travelers discover savings at popular summer travel destinations and identifying great value hotels, popular restaurants and must-do experiences. The list was unveiled as part of TripAdvisor’s 2018 Summer Vacation Value Report, and winners were ranked by the greatest increase in booking interest from spring to summer.
