(Please note that the 100th Street Lot only accepts credit cards)

You will need to know your complete license plate including letters.

The Town of Ocean City has a “NO REFUNDS POLICY FOR PARKING”. BE SURE YOUR TIME IS CORRECT BEFORE PRESSING “YES” and committing. You are solely responsible for entering your time in the machine and verifying that the amount of time is correct and the amount you wish to pay is correct. If you are uncertain, cancel the transaction and start over.

Inlet Lot

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Inlet Parking Lot visitors can pay for the desired amount of time when you park or before you leave your parking space by paying for the amount of time you stayed. Remember, you have a 30 minute grace period to start your parking session, including handicapped!

  • Enter your license plate at a nearby kiosk to pay for your desired amount of time or for the amount of time you had been on the lot. (Note: You will need to know your complete license plate – including numbers ) No need to display the receipt on your dash. You may also pay on the ParkMobile App

  • A violation of Inlet Lot Parking will result in a mailed bill of time spent in the lot, plus a $25 administrative fee. This fee will escalate to $50 if not paid within 30 days. Patrons must pay for expired time prior to leaving the Inlet Lot to avoid being billed for additional administrative costs.

  • Need help? Parking lot ambassadors are available at the booth located in the center of the inlet parking lot (Row E). You can also call the number on the front of the machine for tech support and guidance on the machine and operation.

Street & Municipal Lot Parking

STREET & MUNICIPAL LOT PARKING

Handicapped Vehicles: No charge if stay is less than 1 hour, otherwise full rate.

Handicapped vehicles must have handicapped plates or a visible placard. This does not apply to Inlet Lot parking.

To use on-street or municipal parking lot kiosks; park, take a moment to write down or snap a photo of your license plate, walk to the nearest pay station, enter your license plate number (including letters), the length of time you wish to stay, and your payment. You no longer need to post your receipt on the dash, unless a message is displayed on the kiosk.

 

Some helpful information:

  • Unlike the Inlet Parking Lot, on-street & municipal lot parking requires that you MUST pay for your desired amount of time WHEN YOU PARK.

  • Parking paid at 100th St. lot does NOT apply to parking at the Inlet, on-street parking, or other municipal lots.

  • A violation of street parking & other municipal lot parking will result in a physical parking ticket ($50 fine) which can be voided if payment of 1 hour of time is made within the first hour of issuance.

While you’re in town, why not give your car a vacation, too? The West Ocean City Park & Ride offers FREE ample parking at 12848 Ocean Gateway. Not only is the parking free, but the lot offers spectacular scenic views of the bay, surrounding wetlands, the Ocean City skyline and of course, the gorgeous sunsets Ocean City is known for. Visit the octagon gazebos for amazing bird-watching. And be sure to read the interpretive signs and checkout the railroad bridge and brick walkways before catching the shuttle into town.

 

  • The West OC shuttle service is FREE except during special events. Special events shuttle service from the West Ocean City Park & Ride is $4 and includes a Ride-All-Day bus pass. Please observe posted rules and regulations at the Park & Ride. Restrictions apply
  • During special events that are sanctioned events through the City, parking in the WOC Park N Ride will become available only for a specific short period of time for Parking trailers overnight since no trailer parking is available within the Town of Ocean City. Only during this special event time period are trailers allowed to park overnight. Please follow directed posted signs for hours & days of event for special trailer parking.
  •  It shall be unlawful to park any commercial vehicle unless performing services for or on behalf of the Mayor and City Council
  •  It shall be unlawful to utilize any vehicle for sleeping quarters
  • No Overnight Parking of Commercial Vehicles, Oversized Vehicles or Trailers Allowed – Commercial Vehicles, Oversized Vehicles and trailers will be towed if parked between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

**When Park n Ride Beach Bus is not in operation in the off-season, transportation to/from South Division Street Station to Park n Ride off Rt. 50 is provided by Shore Transit.

100th St. Lot - Overnight Parking - Trailer & Oversized Vehicle Parking

TRAILER & OVERSIZED VEHICLE PARKING

Our 100th St. Municipal Lot (2 lots) is a trailer approved lot (Cars, Boats, Trailers, Oversize).

$10 Day & $50 Week – Good only for the 100th St. Lot

WE DO NOT RESERVE PARKING SPOTS – FIRST COME FIRST SERVE

Payment for this lot can be done with either Credit Card or ParkMobile App.

Parking restrictions for trailers & oversize vehicles

  • No trailer or oversized vehicle parking on Baltimore Avenue at anytime
  • No trailer or oversized vehicle parking on any street or public lot without a permit between May 1 and October 31, except the 100th Street municipal Lot and the West Ocean City Park & Ride
  • Permits are available to registered participants of certain special events from event promoters including Cruisin’ Ocean City, OC Bikefest and Endless Summer Cruisin’ for a fee of $50.
  • Other permits will be issued on a case by case basis by the Town of Ocean City’s Director of Special Events
  • The new ordinance applies to trailers that are both attached and detached from vehicles
  • Any oversize vehicle is any vehicle that is either over 21 feet, 2 inches in length and/ or over 6 feet, 8 inches in width
  • The fine for trailer and oversize vehicle violations is $250
  • Scofflaws (3 or more outstanding tickets or $100 or more in outstanding fines) may be booted or towed

Customers are able to pay for parking from their smartphones by downloading Parkmobile’s mobile application for iPhone, Android, Windows, Blackberry, and Amazon Fire smartphones.

PARKING FAQS

Q: Do I have to place my receipt on the Dashboard?

A: No, you can just pay & go!

 

Q: How does the enforcement officer know I have paid?

A: Our on-street & municipal parking lot enforcement officers use a handheld device that displays a listing of paid plates. Our Inlet Parking Lot uses a camera enforcement system to verify payment.

 

Q: Do I pay when I park or do I pay when I leave my space?

A: For parking on-street or in municipal lots: you MUST pay for your desired amount of time when you park.

A: For parking in the Inlet Lot: You can pay for your desired amount of time when you park OR you can pay before you leave the Inlet Lot by paying for the amount of time you stayed. Remember, your first 30 minutes are free. Note: The Inlet Lot is camera enforced and failure to pay will result in a billed fine for the amount of time you owe, plus $25.

 

Q: Can I extend my parking session at the Payment Kiosk?

A: Yes! You can also EASILY extend your parking session through the PARKMOBILE app or by using a similar payment kiosk as your initial transaction.

  • For parking on-street or in municipal lots: If you made an initial transaction at an on-street/municipal lot payment kiosk, you can extend your time from any other kiosk (excluding the Inlet Lot) up to the maximum time limit.
  • For parking in the Inlet Parking Lot: If you make a payment at the Inlet Lot you can ONLY extend at a payment kiosk in the Inlet Lot.

 

Q: Do Handicapped tagged vehicles have to pay to park?

A: Yes! Our payment kiosks are handicapped accessible. However, for convenience, we do offer a 1-hour grace period for unpaid handicapped parking on-street and a 30-minute courtesy period at the inlet parking lot.
