Ocean City Police Arrest Two Individuals After a Serious Assault
Ocean City, MD- (May 28, 2021): On May 28, 2021, at approximately 12:35 a.m., Ocean City Police officers responded to the 10-blk of 130th Street for a report of a serious assault.
Officers located four stabbing victims in front of Station 4 Fire Headquarters. Ocean City EMS rendered emergency medical care. Two of the victims were flown to Tidal Health by MSP Trooper 4. The third victim was flown to Christiana Hospital via DSP Trooper 2. The fourth victim was not transported to the hospital. All four victims have non-life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, it was determined that the suspects and victims engaged in a physical altercation while attending a house party in the area. The following two arrests have been made in the case:
- Stas Urbanski-Hughes, 18, Frankford, DE: First-degree assault (4 counts), second-degree assault (4 counts), reckless endangerment (4 counts), and openly wear and carry a dangerous weapon (1 count). Urbanski-Hughes is waiting to be seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner.
- Brandon Storm Allen Messick, 18, Ocean City, MD: First-degree assault (4 counts), second-degree assault (4 counts), reckless endangerment (4 counts), and openly wear and carry a dangerous weapon (1 count). Messick is waiting to be seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner.
