Ocean City, Maryland – (October 31, 2017): The Town of Ocean City’s Procurement Department has been recognized by the National Institute of Public Procurement (NIGP) for Outstanding Agency Accreditation Achievement Award (OA4). The OA4 Accreditation is awarded to agencies demonstrating procurement excellency in accordance with the NIGP body of standards.
“This is not just something that we can take credit for as the Purchasing Department but the Town as a whole,” commented Catrice Parsons, Procurement Manager for the Town of Ocean City. “We would like to thanks the Mayor and Council, as well as town employees who work with us as a team to achieve best procurement practices and the strategic goals of the town.”
