City Engineer

The office of the City Engineer provides technical guidance, engineering analysis, and design work for all other City departments, manages many of the City's construction projects, and maintains the City’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The staff consists of; City Engineer Terry McGean, Environmental Engineer Gail Blazer, Engineering Manager Russell Jones, Surveyor Ron Humphrees, GIS Coordinator Karen Zera, Engineer Associate Ken Jordan and Office Administrator Barbara Scheleur.

The Construction Inspection Division administers and enforces the International Building, Housing and Property Maintenance Codes through plan review and inspections. The Construction Inspection Staff consists of Chief Building Official Kevin Brown, Plans Examiner/Senior Building Inspector Kathy Larue, Building Inspector Tom Hughes, and Code Enforcement Facilitator Faith Doyle. Staff also serves the Mayor and City Council and various Boards and Commissions.

Both departments are located on the second floor of City Hall.
