- The Town of Ocean City has a strict “NO REFUNDS POLICY FOR PARKING.” Once you’ve paid for parking, refunds are not provided, so it’s crucial to double-check your parking duration before confirming your payment.
Responsibilities When Parking:
- Ensure you have the complete license plate letters and numbers before proceeding with your parking transaction.
- It is your responsibility to accurately enter your parking duration and license plate details into the parking machine or Mobile App.
- Verify the correct amount to pay based on your intended parking duration.
- If you’re unsure about any aspect of your transaction, it’s advisable to cancel and start over to avoid any issues.

When parking at the Inlet Parking Lot in Ocean City, here’s what you need to know:
Payment Options:
- You can pay for your parking session when you arrive or before you leave the lot by paying for the amount of time you have stayed.
- Use a nearby kiosk to enter your license plate details and pay for your desired parking duration. Make sure to enter your complete license plate, including numbers.
- There’s a 30-minute grace period to start your parking session, including for handicapped spaces.
Receipt Display:
- There’s no need to display the receipt on your dashboard after payment.
ParkMobile App:
- Alternatively, you can use the ParkMobile App to pay for your parking at the Inlet Parking Lot.
Violation Fees:
- Violations of parking regulations at the Inlet Lot will result in a mailed bill for the time spent in the lot, plus a $25 administrative fee.
- If the violation fee is not paid within 30 days, it will escalate to $50.
Payment Before Leaving:
- To avoid additional administrative costs, make sure to pay for any expired time before leaving the Inlet Lot.
Assistance:
- Parking lot ambassadors are available at the booth located in the center of Row E in the Inlet Parking Lot.
- For technical support and guidance on using the parking machines, you can call the number displayed on the front of the machine.

STREET & MUNICIPAL LOT PARKING
Any vehicle or trailer parked on a public street or municipal lot without proper registration may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
If you park in a signed ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) space in Ocean City:
There is no charge if you park for less than 1 hour.
If you park for 1 hour or more, you will be charged the full parking rate applicable to that location.
This policy ensures accessibility and convenience for individuals utilizing ADA-designated parking spaces while maintaining fair parking regulations for longer durations.
Handicapped vehicles must have handicapped plates or a visible placard. This does not apply to Inlet Lot parking.

To use the on-street or municipal parking lot kiosks in Ocean City, follow these steps:
Park and Note Your License Plate: Upon parking, take a moment to write down or take a photo of your complete license plate number, including letters and numbers.
Walk to the Nearest Pay Station: Proceed to the nearest parking pay station or kiosk.
Enter License Plate Number (& Letters) and Payment: At the pay station:
- Enter your complete license plate number into the system.
- Select the length of time you wish to stay and proceed to make your payment.
Receipt Display (if required): Follow any specific instructions displayed on the kiosk regarding the receipt. Typically, receipts do not need to be displayed on your dashboard unless specified otherwise by the kiosk.

Here are the important details regarding parking and shuttle services at the West Ocean City Park & Ride:
Regular Shuttle Service:
- The West OC shuttle service is typically FREE for visitors, except during special events.
Special Events Shuttle Service:
- During special events, shuttle service from the West Ocean City Park & Ride costs $4. This fee includes a Ride-All-Day bus pass.
- Please observe all posted rules and regulations while at the Park & Ride, and note that restrictions may apply during special events.
Trailer Parking During Special Events:
- For sanctioned special events through the City, overnight parking for trailers at the West Ocean City Park & Ride may be allowed for a specific short period. This is because trailer parking is not available within the Town of Ocean City.
- Follow posted signs to know the specific hours and days when trailer parking is permitted during these special events.
Parking Restrictions:
- It is unlawful to park any commercial vehicle unless it is performing services for or on behalf of the Mayor and City Council.
- Using any vehicle as sleeping quarters is also prohibited.
- Overnight parking of commercial vehicles, oversized vehicles, or trailers is not allowed between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Violators may be towed.
- Park only in designated areas to avoid fines or towing.

TRAILER & OVERSIZED VEHICLE PARKING
Limited Space Available At Our 100th St. Lot
Our 100th St. Municipal Lot is a trailer approved lot (Cars, Boats, Trailers, Oversize).
$10 Day & $40 Week – Good only for the 100th St. Lot

Payment for this lot can be done with either Credit Card or ParkMobile App.
***Paying for one week at a time allows you to park in the lot without paying the hourly rate, but does not guarantee a space at all times. Spaces are still first come first served, so leaving the lot mid-week may result in the lot filling to capacity in your absence. If this happens, and you must find alternate parking, you are not entitled to a refund of any parking fees incurred.
Here are the parking restrictions and regulations for trailers and oversize vehicles in Ocean City:
General Restrictions:
- No parking of trailers or oversize vehicles is permitted on Baltimore Avenue at any time.
- Between May 1 and October 31, trailers and oversize vehicles are prohibited from parking on any street or public lot without a permit. The exceptions are the 100th Street municipal Lot and the West Ocean City Park & Ride.
Permits:
- Permits for trailer and oversize vehicle parking are available for registered participants of specific special events like Cruisin’ Ocean City, OC Bikefest, and Endless Summer Cruisin’ for a fee of $50 (Issued by Event Organizer).
- Other permits may be issued on a case-by-case basis by the Town of Ocean City’s Director of Special Events.
Definition of Oversize Vehicles:
- An oversize vehicle is defined as any vehicle that is over 21 feet, 2 inches in length and/or over 6 feet, 8 inches in width.
Enforcement and Penalties:
- The fine for violations related to trailers and oversize vehicles is $250.
- Scofflaws, defined as individuals with three or more outstanding tickets or $100 or more in outstanding fines, may have their vehicles booted or towed.

Q: Do I have to place my receipt on the Dashboard?
A: No, you can just pay & go!
Q: How does the enforcement officer know I have paid?
A: Our on-street & municipal parking lot enforcement officers use a handheld device that displays a listing of paid plates. Our Inlet Parking Lot uses a camera enforcement system to verify payment.
Q: Do I pay when I park or do I pay when I leave my space?
A: For parking on-street or in municipal lots: you MUST pay for your desired amount of time when you park.
A: For parking in the Inlet Lot: You can pay for your desired amount of time when you park OR you can pay before you leave the Inlet Lot by paying for the amount of time you stayed. Remember, your first 30 minutes are free. Note: The Inlet Lot is camera enforced and failure to pay will result in a billed fine for the amount of time you owe, plus $25.
Q: Can I extend my parking session at the Payment Kiosk?
A: Yes! You can also EASILY extend your parking session through the PARKMOBILE app or by using a similar payment kiosk as your initial transaction.
- For parking on-street or in municipal lots: If you made an initial transaction at an on-street/municipal lot payment kiosk, you can extend your time from any other kiosk (excluding the Inlet Lot) up to the maximum time limit.
- For parking in the Inlet Parking Lot: If you make a payment at the Inlet Lot you can ONLY extend at a payment kiosk in the Inlet Lot.
Q: Do Handicapped tagged vehicles have to pay to park?
A: Yes! Our payment kiosks are handicapped accessible. However, for convenience, we do offer a 1-hour grace period for unpaid handicapped parking on-street and a 30-minute courtesy period at the inlet parking lot.
