Ocean City, Maryland (July 5, 2025): The Ocean City Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that occurred at the intersection of 28th Street and Philadelphia Avenue.
At approximately 12:46 a.m. on July 5, officers responded to the area after hearing gunshots. They found an 18-year-old male from Cambridge, Maryland, with a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim received treatment from Ocean City EMS and was transported to Tidal Health with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Currently, the victim is being uncooperative with the investigation. The Ocean City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Major Crimes Unit, will continue to pursue the case.
