OCEAN CITY, MD – (May 27, 2018): Ocean City police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred Saturday, May 26, 2018.
Officers were dispatched to the area of 77th Street and Coastal Highway around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. First responders confirmed that the motorcyclist was deceased shortly after their arrival. The motorcyclist was identified as Armondo Bond, 43, of Staten Island, NY. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Several lanes of Coastal Highway were closed for nearly three hours as the Ocean City Police Department Traffic Safety Unit investigated the collision on scene. The investigation into what led to the collision is still ongoing at this time.
