OCEAN CITY SPECIAL EVENTS
Ocean City’s Special Events Department maintains oversight of all events produced within the Town limits – Private Events produced by independent entities as well as Special Events produced in-house through budgeted Town funds.
The Special Event Department, through the Town’s Private Event Coordinator, acts as the primary point-of-contact for all events utilizing public space within Ocean City. The exception is use of sports fields and sports facilities which are coordinated as field bookings/reservations through the Recreation and Parks Department. Private events follow an approval process that typically requires a minimum of 90 days to complete. The Private Event Application is available in the “Forms” section of the menu along with other applications and information.
