As Needed Administrative Support
How would you like to work in the beautiful resort Town of Ocean City, Maryland?
We are currently searching for several qualified candidates to work on an as-needed basis to fill in for administrative vacancies and to provide support during particularly busy times of the year.
The successful candidates will receive training in multiple departments in order to become familiar with Town processes, systems and culture.
Responsibilities will include a variety of clerical duties including answering and directing calls, interacting with the public, filing, delivering mail, driving, operating office equipment, working in Word and Excel, and the ability to become familiar with other technology used by the Town.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have familiarity with Microsoft Office products, and be flexible with both work hours and work location. This position also requires outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, pre-employment drug test and background check. (A copy of driving record may be requested)
This position pays $13.15/hr.
